Academic Enrichment and Individualization

We strive to meet and exceed the needs of all our students. Our low student to teacher ratio, and expertise in working with a diverse student population, allows teachers to better meet the varying needs, abilities and interests of our students.

English Language Support

For students who are new to learning English, additional support and modified coursework is given as the student strengthens their language abilities.

Accelerated Learning Program

We are pleased to offer a challenging and enriching accelerated learning program for students who learn and work at an advanced pace. Students are generally grouped instructionally by subject area for advanced curriculum work that is flexible and unique to their documented level of learning.

Special Education and Learning Support Services

The International Department of Landakotsskóli offers a range of learning support services for students with our primary goal being the enhancement of our regular school programs as a resource for all students.

Individual Education Plans are developed in coordination with our certified special education coordinator and comprehensive support team.

Visiting Artist Program
Landakotsskóli is pleased to offer our students the opportunity to participate in our Visiting Artist Program.
This program brings an outstanding roster of local, national and international artists to Landakotsskóli each semester for lectures, critiques, performances and workshops. The program exposes students and teachers to a range of artistic approaches and fosters discussion about contemporary art and ideas.
Last year, our Visiting Artist Program included a two week performing arts workshop with Chloe Lang and a puppetry workshop with Ronald Binion, both former stars of the popular children television series LazyTown.
This year we are proud to welcome Colin Levin as our artist in residence. Colin is an internationally acclaimed opera singer and will be working with our students on singing and performance skills.
