Today's programme: catacombs, Latin Quarter, Notre Dame and the Seine. Topped with delicious French food, bien sûr!
We have had a fun packed second day in Paris. After a traditional French breakfast we headed to the catacombs to see the bones of long departed Parisians. We saw the buildings of France's famous Sorbonne university and other parts of the Latin quarter, including a delicious lunch in a cafe there. After lunch we stopped for some of the best ice cream in the world, visited Notre Dame, making us amongst its first visitors since its renovation, and walked along the Seine.
